it is very dangerous to put a real candle there!! when the flame of the candle approaching to the bottom of the aluminum box, the aluminum box will be very very hot, it is hot enough to melt the plastic and drop, causing a fire accident!!!

Hi, you are wrong, because before publishing I did all the tests until the candle ran out and the candle support base did not suffer any negative effects. By the way I use it regularly at my home.

Hello, may I ask which material I should use for this project? Is PETG sufficient?

Hi, I tested it for several hours with PLA and it worked very well, however PETG works fine.

I had to abort the first print; it was too fast, and two of the supports detached from the print bed. A slower setting worked perfectly. It looks excellent, and with minimal post-processing, everything fits together very well. Thank you

Hello… I'm new here and am currently printing this dragon… but I have a question, how did you get the small dowels in?

In Bamboo Studio, where you find the function to cut pieces, you have the option to insert connectors for joints

So it depends on which slicer you use, it's a feature that's now present in many slicers.

Printed this a a sparkly blue PLA and it looks amazing. the gap on the middle has kind of thrown the look off. I love this print though and looks great on shelves

I question that PLA can withstand the heat of a burning candle

You're wrong, because I thought about the distance of the flame from the dragon's head and I performed a test with a candle lit for 2 hours and nothing was deformed. You could try it to believe it

Thank you for your quick response However, the test should be conducted until the candle is completely consumed, as solid wax insulates heat Only when the tea light is nearing its end does the bottom get properly hot, which takes approximately four hours Visually, I find the model quite beautiful by the way

I am very new to 3d printing so I really have a dumb question. I love the design btw. I downloaded the model and printed it but the two halves do not have any holes for the dowels. What did I do wrong and how do I fix this?

Hi, if you look carefully the holes are there, but they are covered by the supports, with tweezers you insert it and extract the supports from the holes. Thanks for printing my dragon.
