Description

A 40mm circular base for tabletop miniatures. I have based these designs on the injected miniature bases commonly found in games shops and bundled in tabletop game boxes.

There is a 2.5mm high space under the base which can accommodate a magnet if you wish. These bases print quickly, use very little filament and look just as good (if not better) than the shop bought alternatives.

I have created a wide range of miniature bases in other standard sizes, you can find them here…

If you are looking for a base in a specific size but can't find it, feel free to drop a comment and I might be able to create it for you.

I wish there was a plate set up with just 1 at a time, instead of 4, but they do come out perfectly!

You can print a single base easily enough - just click on a base to select it and press delete to remove it from the build plate.

Fantastic, absolutely GW quality when printed on textured plate. The first layer goes down inconsistently, though, even at VERY low speeds, leading to some minor surface imperfections - nothing that can't be concealed with a conveniently placed foot or bit of decor, but enough to knock this from a 5 star to a 4.

Thanks for the feedback - i've not experienced any issues with bed adhesion and no-one else has reported any issues, there is nothing in the design or print profile that would cause this. Is your print surface definitely clean?

It is, I am absolutely obsessive about it. I printed in Overture black PLA, which I use all the time. It was a fresh, dry spool. Maybe it's just my luck. I'm not twisted about it, like I said they were *very* minor imperfections and not on all of them. I guess I should have taken photos, but they all have minis and paint on them now.
