Boosts are appreciated, they help me keeping developing and sharing my files.
We needed a no-drill solution to block excessive sunlight from a frosted glass door that caused annoying glare on the TV and during gaming. An IKEA Schottis blind worked well, but it couldn't be fully retracted when not in use. To solve this, I created a simple clamp-style holder that can be stored in place even when the blind is down.
I recommend using at least two clamps, one on each side of the blind
Important: Before installing the magnets, double-check their polarity to ensure they attract, not repel.
Requirements:
Open the file in Bambu Studio, and delete the repeated pieces (to save the work of editing all holes)
Select “objects” in the left menu, and look for the “magnet-hole” parts.
On the top menu select scale, uncheck “uniform scale” and adjust the dimensions to the ones needed for the magnets you have (had some extra space so it's easier to fit the magnets). Repeat the process for all the holes and try to keep them the most centered possible so they are aligned when installing.
When finished clone the objects for the quantities you need. Select each object and right click on your mouse. Choose “Clone” and insert the quantity you need. Repeat for each object.
When finished arrange all objects manually as you please or simply use the automatic arrange (also available right clicking on your mouse)
You shall not share, sub-license, sell, rent, host, transfer, or distribute in any way the digital or 3D printed versions of this object, nor any other derivative work of this object in its digital or physical format (including - but not limited to - remixes of this object, and hosting on other digital platforms). The objects may not be used without permission in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, or collect fees.
