Description

This waste really makes 3d printing sad ! So I created a little waste Eater to make it a little more joyful haha =)

And of course, it is printable without supports !

thanks for this great model! I was feeling left out so I made them a chute for my P1P. :) printed using cookiecad mermaid PLA.

made it slightly smaller and mixed up the eyes a bit, great piece, loved making it now sits pride of place eating my A1 poop

How much slightly smaller? Its lower lip hits the purge wiper when I printed it at 100%. I'd like to use it, but don't want to print & reprint trying to guess the right percentage to get the lower lip clear from colliding with the wiper. It'll sit on the desk next to my A1 (not mini). thanks!

Someone earlier said they printed it at 90% in order to be the right size to place the lip under. That is what I will try.

it’s a cute model but horribly designed in that it doesn’t serve the purpose it was designed for and that is infuriating… Good sir, WTH! Why would you say it’s for the A1 waste collection when it can’t fit it??? My first attempt using it the printer nearly fell off the bench lifting it’s self up from the waste eater…

I recommend rotating the eyes so that the pupils are on the top layers. It wastes a lot less filament, looks better, cuts the print time in half, and only requires a few supports.

fun print but I did like the comments told me to do and printed it at 90% scale. Fits perfectly for my A1

Profile printed well, the main part is one color and the eyes are two color. the model itself is a tad bit tall for the a1 mini so you maybe want to print at 90%
