Description

I needed a cable organizer for my desk, without glue, adhesives and making a hole in it. Designed this very simple one, with a screw to fix it tight and 3 holes for most cables. You are free to change the dimensions to suit your needs.

V2.0 VERSION: Screw scaled to 97.5% as reviews showed a better fit. Also added knurling.

I also made a bigger vise version for thick desks.

If you need this to tidy up passing cables you should check out my other model made for that purpose

Great. Not sure how easily the cable will fall out of the hole when using though. Feels like will fall out easily. Edit: I added a rubber band to prevent thin cables from falling out. Perfect. :)

What filament is that? In any case the cut in the hole is big because i noticed some cables wouldn't fit otherwise. I have thought of uploading many versions each with different holes for cables but it would be too messy. Maybe I can write all the dimensions in the description. Thanks for the review !

It's the Bambu PLA Basic Black. Yea the hole makes sense, but perhaps the design could be tweaked for it to be a bit harder to put in and take out. Maybe with a bend or notch or something.

Print is quick. Screw scaled to 97% was perfect fit for me. I’d maybe add knurling to the knob.

came out great! It would be nice to have a longer screw for desks that aren't so thick. I had to add some foam tape to make up the difference just to keep it on my desk 😂

I see, I may just have been lucky with mine. I’ll make an updated version with a loose fit for the screw. would you like to see anything else in a new version like holes for bigger cables and such?

Nice print. I used the 0.2mm layer, 3 walls, 13% infill file. The screw is tight and broke with the first print. I scaled the screw to 98% and it's still a tight fit but didn't break this time.
