This lamp was inspired by the traditional Japanese Shoji lamps and is ornamented with the symbol of the lotus flower.
The assembly of the lamp works without glue or screws all parts are joined together which allows a quick and easy assembly.
The lamp kit from the Maker Store is used as the light source and is linked below.
How to assemble.
Cut out 1x 123x123mm and 4x 123x148mm pieces from normal construction paper. The pieces are glued to the backs of the 4 side parts and the top part. A simple glue stick can be used for this, dabbing works better than brushing.
The lamp kit is inserted into the lower part.
Insert the bottom part into the opposite side parts.
Insert the remaining 2 side parts from above onto the lamp
And close the lamp with the top part.
General printing tips for beginners:
- Do not use weak filaments like silk filament for mechanically stressed parts
- For better adhesion of the build plate, use adhesive sprays like 3DLAC.
- All my prints are tested before uploading, use my provided print profiles and the linked parts to achieve the same results
