Description

I made this nozzle wiper for my P1S I made it as strong and durable as possible, I used the A1 Silicon nozzle wiper from amazon and so far it's doing what it supposed to do. please let me know if you have any questions.

Print this with PETG face down and use support

Use Super glue to secure the silicon wiper in the specific area for a better results.

Thank you for the likes and the boost

really loving the openness of this so there's nowhere the filament can grab onto and I've put aluminum tape over the flap and slide to let it drop easier through the shute. Thanks for sharing! Works great! Hopefully it won't be too long when there's a ton of purging during filament swaps.

here you go….i put the aluminum tape on bothe the Shute and the flap so there’s nothing any of the filament will stick to.

Hello. While awaiting the brush to glue, I must say your version is the one I find visually and conceptually most accurate. I tried printing as per the file, but I disliked the finish of the wall housing the brush. I chose to incline it by 45 degrees, as shown in the photo. I lowered the object by 2 millimeters on the Z-axis for better adhesion to the bed and to eliminate minor imperfections due to the angle. The print took 40 minutes. Thank you for sharing

This wiper works well so far, but the filament seems to build up on the inner side without the ptfe roller to repel it. Is there a solution for this behavior? @user_1637455789

great print but for some reason the wiper does not gets close to nozzle maybe about 2-3mm away from it. that was my last silicon wiper piece so ill have to order some more to adjust the height a little.

Any loose strings barely touch the silicone never mind the nozzle. Here is a still image from a paused video as you can see just barely touching

I’ve tried many of these, this one seems well-made However, with my new P1S, it doesn’t appear to have these screws and one side is completely empty

I did mine in Glow ABS, fits great! I have noticed when using PETG or ABS I get an occasional build up, easy enough to pop off for now but definitely looking forward to a new version, it cleans the nozzle well, and seems to work best with PLA(haven't seen a build up yet anyway). Thanks and nice design!

That’s sweet. do the stock lights charge it enough to actually glow? Looks like you’re using a uv light to make it pop in your picture.
