****If you need to sand parts or drill for larger holes, this means you need to try a different filament color/type or recalibrate your printer. (Don't just blame the model or print profile by giving a low rating. It really hurts!)

****No screw required. Just use 1.75 filament to attach all parts. Squeeze with pliers before insert.

****Based on my experience, not all PLA filaments are suitable for precision printing.

**** Profile well testing using PETG-HF and PLA Basic, Sparkle and Marble. But the PLA Silk Dual Color smells failure.
****If mixing filament types (e.g. PETG with PLA) for multiple colors, it is best to disable flow calibration.

I didn't have any springs available that weren't being used, but I'm going to order some. I used the same patten on all of the ones I printed.

made mine into an actual knife I’m waiting on some steal rods for the blade lol but it actually works well as a knife

Oh I know lol. the blade is not very sharp. I am going to put metal dowels in it to hold the blade but I still wouldn't trust it lol. my buddy that made the blade for me is going to see if he can make an all metal version for me. he works at a fab shop. I did flick it open a few times and its scary af lol.

The holes appear to be too small for the filament to fit properly., may I made the wrong model for the printer idk im pretty new to 3d printing :(

Flow rate or filament type issues. In my experience, some filaments (such as BambuLab PLA Silk) may print oversized on small parts. So the hole is smaller. Good luck and happy print. Merry Xmas.

BBL PLA Basic is good. Which printer do you have? I did alot test with A1 and X1 and all prints are good.

I was able to get a spring in but I had to cut the pen spring decently small just to be able to fit it in with tweezers normally, so it was low power enough and there was enough friction for it not to work 100% well. I might be able to get a longer price of spring on with that method which could fix it all so I’ll update when I try

Elephant foot issue. Did you enable dynamic flow calibration? You better disable it.

factory settings. only my like 6th day of printing things….. this is light years ahead of my makerbot garbage printer. so still learning things. pretty much just been loading the presets and rolling with it. I’ll look into this dynamic flow….

works perfectly. Maybe the button needs a little bigger edge so it engages better but thats all
