Description

Last minute Christmas Ornaments - fast print in spiral vase mode!

Do you need Christmas tree ornaments at the last minute? Or maybe the cat broke your Christmas baubles? I know the pain :) That's why I made this emergency set.

Each bauble uses between 5 and 8 grams of filament. On average, printing takes one hour.

Baubles are printed in the spiral vase mode which only has one loop wall, that's why they are a little more fragile than things printed in non-vase mode. But don't worry, they don't break as easily as the glass ones :)

After printing, you just need to glue ornament caps (they are on the 5th plate) and you can hang them on your tree. There is one wide circular cap - it fits the bauble on the third plate. And one cap has a flattened cone shape - it fits the bauble on the fourth plate. If in doubt, look at the photos :)

I recommend using Silk filaments, especially dual color ones which give very interesting effects. In this case, the more shiny the better! :) Mine are printed in Sunlu tri color filament using Bambu PLA Silk profile and it printed flawlessly.

If you need more baubles, check out my whole collection - they look good together:

Merry Christmas and Happy Printing! :)

Hard to differentiate between caps when you only print one ornament, but came out flawless

I was thinking about placing a bauble with matching cap on the same plate, but unfortunately it couldn't be done because baubles are printed in vase mode while the caps are not so they must be separate. I'm glad the print came out well.

Replying to @Crow_ck :
The easier thing to do is renaming the files for each cap to match the ornament.
