Description

Introducing the ultimate drilling guide!

  • Drill a perfectly straight and square whole into everything
  • Drill into the corner of your desired material for advanced woodworking and custom projects.
  • Drill into round item with perfect centering.

Once you have decided which drill bit you're going to use, run it through the guide without drilling anything. This will remove very little material and make the fitment of the guide and drill bit absolutely perfect.

Completely designed for 3d printing to minimize the use of filament but yet have the needed strenght.

You don't understand making models for 3d printing. It's not optimized for 3d printing, I guess you have some experience with models for injection molding - for injection such model is making sense. I took time and made inside as solid body instead of hollow, it reduces material usage and print time. By making such model hollow you only add more perimeters which icreases material usage and reduces strenght. Keep learning, overall model idea is nice and i like it. Both models sliced with same settings.

Did you directly upload the model from the slicer?

But you completely ignore the woodworking asbect of it. The reason for hollowness is to give the guide minimal surface contact so it would not be wobbly on the uneven surfaces, so it basically evens itself out due to that. Same with sawdust, there's less chance of it getting between the guide and surface. Thank you for your feedback, i appreciate that :)

Yeah how dare you share an awesome design with us for free. This clown comparing injection molding to 3d printing lmao. I was a process tech for 6 years so I can say from personal experience that comparing injection molding to 3d printing is like comparing chess to checkers.
