Description

Update (18.12.2024): Air holes are added on the back (02_Case).

📺Decorative stand for Hygrometer / Thhermometer that fits in every home! Simply insert the thermometer into the hole in the retro TV.. Insert the face into the case and secure with the legs! So simple 😎.

🔋When replacing the battery, the face can be slid out of the case. Push the face out using a thin object through the threaded hole for the leg.

Great idea! I had a few of these hygrometers just sitting around in a few rooms, so this will be a nice improvement. I also picked up on the airflow issue and went a bit further with it than you did. I used the 'make overhangs printable' feature in orcaslicer to print it without supports, but I didn't pay very close attention to the slice and didn't realize it blocked some of the holes 🤦‍♂️. I drilled them out and they still worked fine, but it should be a pretty easy fix to add some slopes around the top rim to eliminate the need for supports (it adds 1-2g filament but saves 3-4g support). To heighten the retro aesthetic I added some glow in the dark filament to the tips of the dials, and I think adding a color swap to a wood or metallic color for just the panel/dials would look nice (will update). One other minor thing is that , IMO, two of the feet should be printed flipped so that the surface showing on the legs (bottom/top surface) is consistent between the left and right. Print profile with my changes coming soon™

nice desgin and looks great, but the two legs on the right does not sit at the correct orientation, but i suspect its the printer issue because i can tell the flow calibration did not compensate properly....anyway keep up the fun ideas.

I found that they will rotate more, but it's quite tight -- I used some pliers to get enough grip to keep turning them in the right orientation.

Love the design, however, drawing inspiration from another Hygrometer stand and a bit born out of the annoyance that appears when it's a on a slight angle and you can't see the temp/humidity - I Remodeled to have more holes in the back and a bit slimmer to compensate for the filament that it adds with the stand. Still 30g, still 1h 40m to print. Still a super nice original design! Profile uploaded. Thanks for sharing this design.

A funny little case for the hygro-thermometer. In France we measure in °C, I ordered the wrong ones, but it's not a problem, I only want to measure the humidity and it's much nicer to measure that way! :-) Thank you!

This was my first 2 color print on my P1S. It can be printed as separate files though to get different colors. The feet are a little weird getting on.

its a cool design, the legs would be cool if they where integrated into the main part
