Description

I created an ams compatible version that includes various sizes of metric hardware ranging from M2 to M8, and includes:

Screws
Nuts
Washers
Threaded Inserts
Set Screws

All bins are stackable, labeled and 5u tall. They are 1x1 in size, but if the screw length is greater than 30mm, I've added also a bigger bin (1x2). Also other lengths have a double bin, you have to check which one.

If you want to reduce the number of filament changes (currently is 4, so the bins have a nicer finish), you can just change the layer height for the print to 0.24 or 0.28.

Print came out perfect. Printed multiple for the sizes I needed. A bit annoying with 3 filament changes though

thanks :) I acutally tried with only 2 filament changes, but the result was not consistent enough, most of the time some charcters were not printing right. so I’ve decided to “waste” a bit more filament with a change, rather than discard a whole bin

I've found a little workaround to reduce the filament changes without redoing all the bins: if you change the layer height to .24 or .28, it will just do 2 filament changes instead of 4. Hope it helps :)

I want to print this in PETG, but I am unable to change the filament type for the text or the interior. I haven't seen this on other multi-filament models. Normally, I would expect to be able to select two filament for each object. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's due to how I painted the bins, so it creates a "layer" above the filament you select. If you click on the object, and then go to the paint tool, you can select your desired filament, and the using the "fill" tool (shortcut with 'f') you can paint over the black spots on the bin, it should be able to overwrite my original filament. Let me know if that works

Thank you! These are working out great! I almost have my drawer completed based on the screws I have. A few asks :) 1. Can you make on that is m6 x 120mm? 2. Can you provide the boxes without the text so that I can add whatever text I want? This would allow me to keep the toolbox uniform. Thinking about adding electical connectors, etc. Again, thank you. These are awesome.
