This is the companion cube from the Valve game Portal.
I modified this model to help align the different faces together.
Portal is one of my favorite games which is why i wanted to make this.
The cube is split up into the individual faces to improve the print quality.

Print the build plate twice to get all six sides of the cube.
To glue all the sides together I used hot glue, but you can use whatever glue you think works best.
I sanded and of the individual faces before gluing them together, i also sanded the connecting faces, to make them fit together better. I filled the remaining gaps with wood filler, which I then sanded the edges. I primed the model, then gave it an under coat with a metallic paint before gave the model the base coat, i later sanded off the base coat to reveal the metallic paint, to create chipped paint effect. I gave the cube a coat with dark brown watercolour paints which i wiped off with a damp cloth to create a dirt effect.
