Description

A simple container to hold loose dessicant. Designed to hold either silica gel beads or activated alumina of 3mm diameter or greater. It can hold approximately 130 grams of dessicant which is plenty for a 20 litre container. Cover slides open and a built in latch to keep it closed.

I love this design and printed a few. 1 recommendation - can the vents be simplified to speed up printing and reduce movement (I use transparent PETG) ? I have a lot more boxes to print for. LoL.

Let me look into making vents bigger. 2mm wide so 3-5mm dessicant beads doesn't fall thru.

Printed perfectly using PLA and no supports. Lid snaps closed securely to contain the silica beads. Placed one in a 22 litre storage container and humidity dropped from about 35% to 14% within hours. Good design. Thanks

Great design and concept. I love this, works perfectly. FYI: using PETG transparent, everything prints really slow. About 6 hours. I wanted to be able to see the dessicant color.
