Description

This is my rotating drawer desk organizer with 4 drawers!

This organizer is a nice piece to display the beauty of 3d printing!

The model is deliberately designed to achieve a certain weight to make it stable so that it does not slide around on the table.

The model consists of:

  • Feet (4pcs).
  • Bottom (1pc.)
  • Housing (1pc.)
  • Peg for Axis of drawer 1 (1pc.)
  • Axis for drawer 1 (1pc.)
  • Axis for drawer 2-3 (2pcs.)
  • Axis for drawer 4 (1pc.)
  • Drawer 1 and 3 (2pcs.)
  • Drawer 2 and 4 (2pcs.)
  • Top with eagle inlay or tree of life inlay or without inlay (1pc.)

Print Profile Information:

The print profile contains all possible parts plus top with eagle inlay. The two other top versions you can choose of, can be found in the additional print profiles.

You can be creative by colorizing the model as you like it the most! Show me your beautiful color combinations that you have printed!

Needed Tools:

  • screwdriver to install the axis
  • your preferred glue

Assembling:

Please read the assembly instructions!

Recommended filament:

PLA or PETG depending on what you have.

I printed the model with PLA.

Hotend: 0,40mm

Print instructions for PLA (my print profile is set up like this):

  • layer height 0,20mm
  • 3 wall loops
  • top/bottom shells 4 layers
  • top/bottom shell thickness 0,80mm
  • infill 15%
  • sparse infill pattern “gyroid”
  • Enable support type “normal”, style “default” to support the guiding peg of the drawers

Before printing, make sure your build plate is clean and apply some adhesive. Wash the build plate with oil free soap and wipe it off with some paper towels. For build plate adhesion, apply a thin, even coat of your preferred adhesive. I repeat the process every 5-6 prints.

Bad build plate adhesion is not related to the model.

Please leave me a like and a decent rating if you were satisfied, thank you in advance!

Massive filament usage, but to be fair, its as sturdy as MDF. Loved it. Easy to print and easy to assemble.

Thank you kindly for your rating. As i stated in the model description: "The model is deliberately designed to achieve a certain weight to make it stable so that it does not slide around on the table". Maybe I should have specified how much filament is used.

@SaVo3D I wasn't criticizing, just trying to point that out since I wasn't paying attention and my orange filament run out mid print :|, and completed the body with another color :). As you mentioned, it would be nice to add a note of that. Again, the same cost makes the model sturdy and well balanced. And I loved the outcome. I can not post a picture since my sister stole my first print :) Kudos to you for sharing such an exceptional design with us.

😊 Same thing happened to me! I ran out of white Filament for the body at around 30% of the body so i decided to switch to a light yellow and hoped that it would not be as noticebale 😂. The thing is, most people do not tend to read the description especially when it exceeds a certrain length but i will add a note!
