Description

I've designed a custom 3D printed box to hold the tool tray that is supplied by Bambu Lab with the A1 printer.

Store up to 4 hot ends & silicone socks

Fusion 360 parametric file available, uses 20mm OD steel washers, 10mm ID and 2mm thick

the amount of filament the program has wasted, is unreal. cool tool box but wish there was more onsite on the 200 grams of waste! and what is the block on the top left corner that was not present in the plate program? switching filament is very wasteful!

Hi, Umm what can I say, I think you have done something wrong? Why did you end up with so much poop? You should have only got 2 layers of poop (hardly anything). The block on the top left is called a PRIME TOWER you can do some research on that. It would be interesting to understand what settings you printed that at to achieve the huge amount of poop

I'm in the process of printing the box right now and I have the same problem as the person above - I'm a complete novice at 3D printing, but I believe the issue is in the model I downloaded, the supports are set up to print in the same color as the lettering on the front of the box, so the printer keeps switching the color on every layer. I've learned a lesson to check these things more carefully.

You only need to consider shifting or disabling the purge tower, otherwise you'll end up with that little line

mehhh it works. the hot ends are a bit loose they fall out. but great design.. just needs some refinement

Hi MEHH, did you put washer in the print? the magnetic heads stick to the washers, I have found a few people have not followed the instructions & had problems

Hot ends don't clip into the case. Am I doing something wrong there? If not, it makes it difficult to close the case as the hot ends will just fall out.

slides have a very loose tolerance, they do not really lock in place. container itself is very well modeled, fits the A1 printer stock toolkit perfectly.

Hi, Thanks for giving me feedback, I have generated 2 new slide profiles, 0.05mm/side tighter & 0.1mm/side tighter, give them ago & see if you can find the perfect fit, if you still have trouble let me know, regards Dean
