Summary

Made for my wife who teaches biology.

Model is 8" (20cm) tall, 2 1/4" wide (5.5cm), the bookend itself isn't very strong, uses the weight of the book on the edge to provide strength.

The one I printed uses a translucent yellow filament, I think being able to see the infill pattern up close adds to the science-y vibe. 
                        

Notes:                     

Printing with tree supports, with base flat on the build plate gave the best results. Using standard supports will be a pain to remove.
