Description

Losi Micro B 1/24 Steering Geometry Correction Rod Collection to correct the uneven turning radius of left and right turns due to a wrong steering geometry.

I found my Micro B having a different turning radius for left vs right turns. 63 vs 37cm.

The Reason is a wrong geometry of the steering linkage.

To correct this the length of the rod between the servo arm and the main linkage has to be adjusted so that the servo arm and the first rod are in a right angle to each other. This is not the case in the stock geometry.

As the stock rods are not adjustable, i made a simple model of the rod in different lengths (11.1 - 12mm / 0.1mm steps) to replace the stock rod.

A longer servo arm would also achieve a right angle between the servo arm and the first rod. The turn radius would become smaller overall. But the steering sensitivity increases a lot which i dont like.

If the fitting on the ball joints is too loose or tight, play with the X-Y hole correction setting in quality tab of bambustudio. Do small steps of 0.02.
