This project presents a reimagining of @SteDev 's original design. The aim was to adapt their creation to perfectly align with my sister's wishes for a streamlined version featuring only ten boats, a departure from the initial arrangement. I implemented several key modifications to personalize the project.

Initially, the model's stackable functionality, a characteristic of the original design, has been removed. In its place, I've incorporated an ergonomic handle, enhancing both practicality and ease of transport. Furthermore, I refined the boat designs by altering the grooves. These have been broadened to ensure superior stability, and their heights have been adjusted to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing and functional outcome.

These alterations render the project distinctive while retaining the creative spirit inherent in @SteDev 's work, yet tailored to my sister's specific requirements.

English :

This project is a reinterpretation of the original design by @SteDev . The goal was to adapt their work to precisely meet my sister's expectations, which called for a simplified version with only 10 boats instead of the initial configuration. I made several significant changes to personalize the project.

Firstly, the model is no longer stackable as in the original version. Instead, I added an ergonomic handle that enhances practicality and makes it easier to carry. Secondly, I redesigned the boats by modifying the grooves. They were widened to provide better stability, and their heights were adjusted to achieve a more harmonious and functional result.

These changes make the project unique while preserving the creative essence of @SteDev 's work, but tailored to my sister's specific needs.

Hello, thank you for your feedback However, you rated the print profile which appears to have printed perfectly Instead of rating the model Also, you should choose a print that meets your needs, not the other way around Giving an average rating because a print does not match your desired dimensions, while the dimensions are noted in Bambu Studio, and it is also possible to resize it, is not very appropriate behavior I wish you all the best

easy print. There is not a lot of space to access the latches to get the trays out. 4/5 stars

I printed this for my daughter to organize her trading cards However, two of the noses have already broken off; it’s somewhat challenging to press down with one hand and pull out with the other simultaneously Otherwise, it functions as intended

Great design and prints beautifully with rainbow filament, but do you have any tips how to strengthen the bond of the latches? Unfortunately they break very easily and I had to use a super-glue to reattach them. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, even printing with 50% of the speed didn't help.

Hello,Thank you so much for your support. I’m truly sorry that your latches are not holding up. On my side, they are all still in place. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with a simple answer, but here are some suggestions regarding your issue: - Is your filament sufficiently dry? Some filaments are more prone to breaking than others. - Print orientation is also important for the strength of the part. In this case, the orientation is not optimized to strengthen the latches but rather to minimize the use of supports. You could try rotating the part by 90° in Bambu Studio, enabling supports, and observe how a significant amount of supports will unfortunately be required. - The strength of these latches also depends on layer adhesion. The parameters that significantly affect layer adhesion include print temperature, Z-offset settings, print speed (you’ve already experimented with this—well done!), and layer height. In any case, I sincerely thank you for your constructive feedback, as it’s precisely through this kind of input that projects improve and move forward. I’ll think about designing a way to make these latches more robust (for example, by making them wider). I could also create a test piece with only the latch part, so we can experiment together and save filament during testing. I’m always open to discussion, so feel free to reach out!

Hello brogen67, thank you for your kind reply! Yes, it might be, that my filament was too brittle due to its dampness, I may try with a fresh one. Also the suggestion to rotate the model and use some organic support here and there would be also an option, I think I'll give it a try on the sample from @SteDev. One more suggestion about the possible improvement would be to make the latches longer in the way, that the cuts would start 10-20 mm earlier, this could reduce the stress. Best regards, Marcin

You're welcome for the feedback; it's normal. Regarding the print test, you can indeed proceed with the example mentioned. However, I have started a modification to further reduce material requirements and to adjust the latch as well. The length of the latch is also a good idea; I will incorporate this idea into the new version.
