Description

I created this model from scratch off images online to closely reflect the real deal. These turn out great but they are not for the faint of heart…. long print times, lots of color changes, lots of supports, so be warned but the end result is so worth it as these are hugely popular as gifts for your sports fans.

These can be scaled to an extent but be sure to review the slice results. I always print multiples to limit the waste.

Feel free to contact me for requests of other teams.

I have the Steelers one done but haven't posted it yet..... it has too many colors at once on certain layers so I need to work out how I want to break it down. The ones I made I just had a round pocket where the logo goes and printed the logo separate and flat (face down) and used heat and a PETG die to form it into a dished shape then glues that to the helmet. It was a bit of a process but it worked. I think it might be better to just use a variant of the logo design and just use black and gold

I'll have this on my list of things, I need to work out a way to reduce the cost of these helmets because yopu can buy Riddell replicas for like $35 USD for many teams so people have told me theyd rather buy those than a similar size and even higher priced 3D print. But if I thin up the helmet and separate the mask it could make these more efficient to print.

All in all looks nice but not as nice as Eagles - Go Eagles. Same problem at the other - Rough top.

The rough top is just the way the printing technology works, not really a way to avoid it. You could reorient the helmet face down and the roughness will move to the back but its still there. You can also try variable layer height but I've heard mixed results from that so I left it standard. THanks for the feedback and rating.
