Description

This is a basic spool holder for IKEA Skadis pegboards.
I've found that the other designs on here are either way too flimsy or waste quite a bit of material.
This design attempts to be the best of both worlds; remaining as light as possible while strong enough to hold full spools of filament.

  • STRONG, LIGHT, EFFICIENT, STURDY
  • Prints under 100g / set.
  • No other materials/parts required
  • Easy assembly, prints in two halves. (can use glue to permanently bond the two if you wish)
  • ONLY HAS ONE SET OF PEGS BY DESIGN! (weight, waste & simplicity..etc.)
  • Each spool bracket holds 1 spool of filament
  • 1 Skadis Baord (22"x22" / 56cm x 56cm) can fit 18 spools [up to 21 if you don't mind a little overhang]

Hello, I would like to use your model, but I don't want to glue it. Can you also create it as 1 part?

Have you tried printing it? It is quite a snug fit, especially if you have multiples side by side. Printing it in one piece would be very wasteful and require lots of supports. I have not actually needed glue on any of my prints.

No problem if you don't want to make it available. Another maker has now provided me with his model as a whole and it is currently being printed.

Hello, is it possible to print from this system? On others, the spools don't rotate properly

It is not designed with that in mind, it's for easy access storage.
