For the most satisfying click, this model has been designed to be used with mechanical keyboard switches which can be bought from many retailers for cheap. Here are a few ideas on where to buy:

You can use any colour switch (I used blue) they have the same size, just a different feel to the click. Silent options are also available.

Thank you for your design I swapped the keyboard's top and bottom and installed ultra-bright LEDs because my machine lacks internet connectivity Otherwise I would definitely give you a ten-star rating

The mechanical switch is not very secure and pops out easily when tugged

Is there a reason why it takes twice the total time and filament if you print both halves at the same time instead of in two different prints? ( According to the estimates, i didn't try it yet because of that ) Is it purely because of the purges between colors?

yes it’ll be because of the colour change unfortunately there will be 3 changes per layer which is a lot for a small model. I’d recommend printing 2 plates, but no harm in doing them all on one if you are happy with a longer and more filament but less admin 😄

A version of that this does not require AMS would be amazing :) I guess with the middle portion cut out somehow so you can print it black and glue it in. Assembling it that way may also make the print times a looooooooot shorter without the color changes, but I don't have AMS, so I could be very wrong.
