Update 11.12.2024

As some wanted I added Santa Hat to this model.

I designed this hat to print fast with only two color change.

It stay on head but is quite unstable so if you want it to stay firmly on the head you have to glue it by for example super glue.

Overview

Grumpy Cat Angel - I don't know what I was thinking when I created it, but it turned out quite funny :)

Nice enough, but more waste than I have ever had with a model

2 ways to handle that: 1. Make all colors a base color (say - white or gray) and simply paint the model. 2. Fill the plate with the model :) The amount of waste is constant, so the more models there are the less waste per model :)

None of my other prints with multiple colours have made a tower like that in the back especially with no colour changes through half the model.

I would never give only 3 stars on a perfectly good free print because of waste. I love the fact all these files are free....

It is difficult to improve because there are supports under the wings. You can reduce the layer size or choose a different filament where it will be less visible (matte colors)

Fantastic design, and nice remix for the hanging hook :) I would only make one suggestion for a minor tweak: separate the wings and the background color of the eyes into two separate objects, so that people using an AMS have the option of easily changing the background eye colour to be something other than the wing colour. The tail constantly breaks when removed from the model stands. in the same place at the base of the tail where the tail touches the cat's body at the lowest point. how to fix this?
