my husband printed it but he used inland grey PLA. the whole thing just fell apart and never stayed shut.

You can use something like the "Image to Keychain" tool to create your own design. Then simply load it in with the blank Zyn Tin, lay it inside, slice, quality check, and print! Maybe I could see if I can make a parametric model here on makerlab for it?
