sorry but this shape is asking for trouble in future. can easily trap a loose part of the filament and cause an entangle. Would definitely suggest to change the shape to somethign round or oval.

I have been testing the shape of the model for weeks and have had no problems. The model has a horizontal guide design that allows the filament to move easily without any hindrance, thank you.

these are cool and neat but are they necessary? I suppose if u leave rolls out and exposed without putting in vaccine bags maybe, but I’m trying to understand the necessity of these? they are very cool and appear very well designed so props for that definitely!

Filaments carry dust with them as they are produced, so they will more or less clog the print head. It is necessary to clean the filament before feeding it into the extruder. Thanks!
