Description

This sturdy corner connector is a must-have complementary piece for the Skadis stand – Corner (https://makerworld.com/en/models/854555).

Inspired by the fantastic horizontal connector for Skadis by @AU3D (https://makerworld.com/en/models/471800?from=search#profileId-381485), I recreated this one from scratch, making slight adjustments to the hooks and reinforced the corner for added strength.

This piece requires printing with supports, but don’t worry—if you let your print plate cool properly, the supports should come off easily. The bottom part may be a bit rough after removing the supports; you can sand it down or leave it as is since this part of the print won’t be very visible.

Once installed, this connector securely fixes two Skadis desks together, leaving almost no gap between them, as shown in the photos.

I'm not sure I understand what went wrong. Since this is a corner piece, you have to use supports somewhere, so I oriented model in a way that nothing "rough" wouldn't be visible from front view and of course you have to be a bit gentle when removing supports from those hooks.

Decent support removal, but Rough Tolerance

I'm not sure I understand :) What do you mean by "rough tolerance"? I made this one to close the gap in corner as much as possible, so there is almost no gap in the end.
