Snowman came out great but pretty sure the hat isn't suppose to look like this

Thanks for your feedback the ones I've printed haven't looked like that. Ill have a look at doing a smoother hat piece but would probably take a little more time.

Some advice if you notice tight curves at lower resolutions: Check out variable layer height in bambu studio to adjust layer height either automatically or manually for areas such as this.

Other Issues:I have tried with PLA and PETG and have lines around the brim of the hat. The pink was the new file with the arms and updated hat. I also tried on the pink to add ironing for the final layer.

thanks for the review. what printer is it your using? Ill do another print profile for the hat and try it with reduced layers and if that doesn't solve your problem ill try re shaping the hat for you.

I am printing on the A1 using .4. Thank you! I had someone suggest playing with adaptive layers but I don't know enough to be making changes to that.

That’s strange because I’m also using an A1. I’ve got a redesigned hat printing at the moment as soon as it’s completed I’ll upload the print profile and let you know. The print profile you used before already had the adaptive layers turned on so should have been good for you.

I printed V2 with the arms, but I used a hat and nose from a different profile and set fuzzy skin for the snow. I love this new bottle holder!

Really love this winter wine holder. I simplified the model to get more of that geodesic look. I was tempted to put arms and a nose on, but the simplicity is nice too. Fun design that’s fully functional.
