Part of my collection of keyboard switch fidget toys, Starmie edition!
PARTS:
You will need a keyboard switch in a cherry mx format or similar (I use Kailh navy box switches). There are 3 printed parts: the body (purple), the prong setting (gold), and the core (red).
ASSEMBLY:
Ensure the pegs align on the gold and purple parts and use that as a guide to glue them together.
Push the keyboard switch into the base as shown in the photos, and push the red piece on like a key cap. Both should be a tight fit and stay secure with no glue.
PRINT SETTINGS:
**Ensure your bed is newly leveled, so the keycap stem does not get squished into the bed, causing fit issues. Elephant foot compensation can help too (I used 0.15mm).**
No supports
3 walls, 10% infill
