Hi, my workshop and bathroom desperately needed a touch of green. Unfortunately, little natural light reaches these rooms, so I searched for artificial plants and was shocked by their prices. My idea is to “construct” various appealing plants for 3D printing and make them plantable in my plant pots with a 104mm inner diameter using an adapter. Unfortunately, I only standardized the inner diameter of my plant pots recently; however, all pots are compatible with the integrated drainage system (variant 2 for older pots).
Returning to the plants themselves, I tested several filaments and printers. The individual plant parts fit together well, and after a few manipulations, they could be shaped beautifully. During printing, I experienced a couple of instances where individual parts detached, but thanks to the “skip part” function in the Bambu app, this wasn't a major issue. If you're unfamiliar with this function, check out my TikTok channel; I'll be showcasing it in an upcoming video, demonstrating how useful I've found it during this particular print.
Enjoy printing
