Description

Bird feeder for fat balls. Printed these in PLA+ but think you should at least use PETG for best durability and longevity. Opened by unscrewing the lid. The threads are a little tight at first but get better with time. There are drainage holes in the bottom.

the printer profile worked for me. The threads got a little rough but worked.

Dimensions: 245x70x70

Functional and modern design but there is an excess of supports and it is difficult to turn the closure

Thanks for your input. I'll try to make a model with slightly larger threads and a looser fit.

the thread locks to a degree where I could well doubt how long it will last

thanks for your suggestions. I'm going to change the threads so they are a little bigger and looser. I'm pretty new to the 3d world but trying to get better.

I went through a lot to find a design I liked and I was happy with how the design turned out. So cool that you're working on it. I look forward to following what else you are design.

I just uploaded a new version of the model. The threads are improved and the support slightly changed. Hopefully it should print better now.

Everything printed wonderfully except for the thread, which came loose on the first screwing in What could be the reason It looked as if it were too small

How strange. When I printed it with my print profile, the threads work perfectly. Did you use my profile and with bamboo filament? Did you still have the support?
