Description

Hotend decorative model for Bambu Lab A1 / A1 mini

This 3D model is a faithful replica of a hotend from the Bambu Lab printer series (A1 / A1 mini). It is specifically designed for versatile use: as a wall decoration or a freestanding highlight on a shelf or desk.

Special features:

  • Realistic replica: Based on the design of a real Bambu Lab hotend, perfect for technology fans and 3D printing enthusiasts.
  • Integrated LED function: The nozzle has a hole for inserting an LED light strip or tube. This creates the impression that the hotend is printing filament – a real eye-catcher!
  • Flexible wall mounting: The model can be either glued or screwed on. Screws can be conveniently hooked between the cooling fins.
  • Easy adjustment: In the slicer, the model can be easily scaled to the desired size to fit any room situation.

Printing recommendation:

  • Material: PLA, PETG or other standard filaments.
  • Support: Theoretically not required. However, I printed it with support to be on the safe side.
  • Infill: 15% is sufficient.

Tip: When scaling the model in the slicer, the cross-section of the LED tube should serve as a reference. Use the measuring tool in the slicer to check if the hole in the nozzle is large enough for the tube to fit. If the cross-section does not fit, simply scale the model larger/smaller until it fits.

I like it. I can’t upload video here. The light is moving from top to bottom. There is also created automation, when printer is on, the LED turns on and off when printer is off too. Greate model. Printed very well.

I scaled it to 2300, as my LED tube was somewhat thicker, and I glued five plates to the back as spacers to the wall so that the tube lies flush

This thing is awesome! Printed at 2100% and I'll be working to mount it later this week along with my LED strip. Improvements I'd recommend: 1. A joint to help the two large pieces stay together without glue or to help the glue. 2. Add a couple mounting holes on the back to aid in mounting to the wall for larger size prints. 3. The print profile for the magnet has a sparse infill density of 10% and a lightning sparse infill pattern which causes the magnet to print without infill on my A1.

Like you said! It`s a very nice model, but improvements are needed like: stronger and better way to join the two pieces together, Some kind of mounting holes, and yes my Mini also printed the magnet without infill...

Awesome model and great profile! Scaled it up from 1400% to 2000% and added a cutout on nozzle to help fit my Amazon LED Strip and I love the way it looks now

Looks awesome! Used a govee N1 rope light had to modify the nozzle a bit but turned out good.

Damn...I literally just printed the other hotend u have and i dont even have an x1..i was just so happy to have a bambu hotend on the wall !! Now i see the A1 hotend now i have to print this ASAP.
