Semiscale model of the iconic Mercedes W 154 racing car from 1938-1939. I based it on the still-running Silberpfeil with starting number 6. The photos of the printed model show the state as the parts come from the printer; nothing has been painted or sanded. The print plates are set with the corresponding print parameters. I used Tinmorry PLA Ultra Silk for the body and Ultrasilk Bronze for the mufflers.

Assembly Instructions:

Simply slide the two body halves together on a flat surface using superglue. The windshield is cut from blister material and glued to the frame. The central nuts should be glued to the screw heads after the tires have been mounted. I used eSun TPE for the tires. The rims are made up of three parts: inner part, middle part, and outer ring. The tire is assembled in this order. The axles are M4x20 hex socket head cap screws. The dashboard (optional with separate speedometer rings), the starting numbers, and the front star can be printed separately on a hologram plate, "face up" (better optics). The star and the starting number can be printed with TPE/TPU. Have fun with the model.

This is a beautiful model. I've been taking my time with it. I'm doing 2 at the same time, one with OVV3D silk silver PLA and the other with the Tinmorry UltraSilk silver PLA to see if it made a difference, and it did ! see photo ... oh and I made my tires out of TPU ... still working on it ... lovely, thank you !
