Description

Headphone stand for Star Wars fans!

  • 0.2 layer height
  • 2 walls
  • 5% infill adaptive cubic
  • Adaptive layer height for top part
  • Tree supports

Printed with PLA Matte Black (recommended)

You can change the infill to 40% lightning to save some material and time! The base needs to be at least 10% solid infill. (gyroid, cubic etc)

(I printed this way for a solid feeling of the bust)

great, but with 25% lightning infill issues with top layers - nozzle hitting the print

Yea. I recommend 3-5% cubic or gyroid infill for all my busts. But for lightning at least 30-40%

I’m a brand new and I tried this print and it failed and it’s probably because I just don’t know what I dont know . I had issues the whole time with nozzle dragging on print and as it’s getting close to top of head it just hit so much and dragging got way worse at 5% to complete that I had to stop the print . I’m using A1 printer with black pla . I hate to really bother you but can you maybe guide me in the right direction on what I can do you make this a success ? I understand if you are too busy or don’t want to be bothered with a newb that knows just about zero , thank you , Lou

where you able to figure out what went wrong and how it was fixed? I have same printer and same issue , nozzle dragging against print slightly in beginning and as it gets closer to top of head worse and worse . I’m literally brand new and I have no clue what caused this or how to fix . all I know is I want to learn and get good at this .

Thank you for rating! I manually painted the supports and changed some setting for better removing. I forgot to change the print profile from Auto supports to Manual supports, now is updated

Other Issues:it has issues with the layers at the top. it states to use manual layers but when I do that it doesn’t allow for variable layers to adjust the smoothing on top. been trying to figure out how to adjust it to try and print again.

You can use variable layer height but you need to change the support type: from tree organic to tree default or slim
