what if the track looked like this, so it locked out fully extended and fully closed?

This is a good idea and could work. It would require each section to be pulled at a time, instead of a continuous pull. A small sacrifice for more functionality. I'll consider adding this feature, thanks for sharing

Incredible. Amazing. Bizarre. Astounding. Dare I say one of the greatest things to come out since sliced bread. But seriously my wife and I thank you for this, kind internet stranger.

Printed perfect, if you don't care to print it in different colours you can fit it all on one plate. This will be so useful especially around Christmas time, and any other time you need to wrap things.

This by far is the most enjoyable print for the end of 2024. The design was very well put together. Elite design. And it just freaking works man. I reckon this print profile would win the Christmas contest. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Grate design. Now I don't have to sit there with tape stuck to each finger while my wife wraps presents!

so it falls apart when you try to move it. I glued on 3 magnets made a difference. recommended you make a hole for magnets in between the sections

I’ve been thinking of ways to keep it connected once it’s fully closed. Using magnets is one of those ideas. I’ll release something this weekend!

Replying to @wuboo :
could just extend some dowels out from the main plate in to the center add some holes for the dowels to slide in to add a bit of glue and voila and do the same on the other end of the end section to connect to the mid section add dowel rods to the end section and holes to fit on the mid could be a possible way.
