Description

Adapter to directly connect your Makita SP6000 tracksaw to a Cen-Tec Systems Quick-Click vacuum hose (https://www.amazon.ca/Cen-Tec-Systems-94720-Multi-Brand-Collection/dp/B0849MQYF1).

This will also work with the hose included with Fien Turbo II series of dust-extractors - and I believe (although this is untested) the Bosch Click and Clean hoses.

My print profile was setup to print with PETG HF filament for the adapter - using PLA basic for support interfaces.

Depending on your setup, and how well overhangs are printing for you, you can also print the adapter in 3 parts and glue it together; this will require significantly less supports and filament changes (if using PLA for support interface material) - although I don't know how well the glue joints will hold long term.

If printing in a single piece I found it worked better with the Cen-Tec side of the adapter on the build plate (auto-orient will try to place the Makita SP6000 end down) - the overhangs are less extreme with this orientation. Even with this I did end up adding hints for a few extra supports to get a good clean print.

Ideally you will need a rubber O-ring - I used ones with a 22mm inner diameter and 2.5mm cross-section - although I don't think it needs to be exactly that - as long as it is in the ball-park.

Nice print. Cool to see that it works on the cordless models as well (expected it would - but didn't have one to actually test)
