This is a variation of my other painting rack design https://makerworld.com/en/models/718125 This version takes up less space on the workbench but doesn't hold as many miniatures.
This design can help you to hold your miniatures while priming or painting them. The rack holds 17 miniatures and features removable painting sticks that are easy to grip and handle.
There are two variations, one with a lifting handle and one without. The sockets on the rack are deep enough so the models don't rattle around too much when you move it.
The sticks have a 21mm platform and at 80mm in length they are easy to hold while detailing your models. Use the extension handle to help keep paint off your fingers when painting with a rattle can or air brush. I use that putty used to attach things to walls, it works perfectly. The sticks make it easy to finely rotate the mini in your fingers which I find helps when painting things like a ring around a barrel for example.
The sticks are not intended to fit too tightly in the sockets but due to seams they may seem to stick a bit and may take some break in to make them fit smoothly; slide the sticks in and out a few times to speed up the process. You could also lightly sand the ends of the sticks too.
I printed with 0.2mm layer height, 15% infill, no supports, and brim only on the extension handle.
Enjoy and paint on!
