Description

This is a remix of a much larger model, please go to the original creator and show support by also downloading here:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/556645#profileId-475547

I have spent many hours downscaling and making this fit the TRX-4M (bronco and defender) and figuring out the best print orientations for less parts. I have made changes to every single part. I have down below made a simple step by step do assemble this model but please also se the original makers mounting guide to get a better overview and also se the changes that is made.

Now also compatible with high trail, with the extended bed or the flatbed option found below

Se assembly guide added below as PDF

tips:

-Battery hatch is opened from the underside
-be gentle to the screws, dont overtight
-flip the suspension front to back if you have the defender chassi. I also used 9mm spacers in front and 6mm in the rear
-The led is easier if removed from the rest of the cables and electronics when mounting.
-this may be hard to build for some people this is tiny stuff. please  give it time and be gentle.
-I did not have any problems with threads, if you do one thing you can try is change it to 3walls.
-for easy battery removal, dont mount the right bed step

27/12/2024:
After much testing and driving, the only part that is breaking easy for me is the front tow bar, I have now changed it for a new stronger and easier replacement of the front tow hook.

30/01/2025:
Does now fit the high trail with the extended bed and flatbed option!
Also you optional to move the esc tray one position forward in the framerails here for hightrail

Flatbed option found here:

Extended bed found here:

Had fun to build this truck with my son. Need to find the right wheel size. 62mm are a little bit to big. the original Bronco tires are to small.

Looks great, love that you also made the extra details! and is that the high trail chassi? does it fit or did you make modifications? I see that you have made a small bend on the rear fenders is that all?

Indeed, I gently curved the rear wing in the heater! Then I went to get some Hummers. I think it turned out superbly!

Absolutely fantastic model. One of the major reasons I got into 3d printing was for RC and sadly have been disappointed by the lack of body kits available, especially for free. This is both amazing and free!

sad to see it fail after you invested so many hours to try it a second time. may I ask if the filament is bambulab and stock settings, might be hot? i dont know. the first try is some what complete, only the ugly parts on the picture? i can design a custom cover plate with the front fenders to hide it? if you want?

Hello, thank you for your quick reply, I used Extrudr XPETG matt filament. If that were possible with the cover.

Print came out great. I'm using this on an FCX24 as well. I went back scaled down a few other parts along with the upper roof and added it on. Currently working on scaling the interior. it's on the printer as I type. lol great job man. 👏

hello and thank you for the work you have done. I started printing only the cabin in gold color and personalizing it with license plate and name. the truck will be printed in gold, red, black and gray. Ironman style.

instructions are a bit difficult but the remix is excellent and the photos provide enough information. thanks for sharing what you made. I really liked the 10th scale but didn’t have the right rc.
