As shown in the photos, the model prints flawlessly. If you encounter any issues during the printing process, we recommend verifying the quality of your filament and adjusting your printer settings as needed before considering leaving a negative review.

The basket is 1mm thick to save filament, which works for me but some might prefer it a bit thicker, and in that case you can choose a thicker basket and/or a different pattern, follow the link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/902651#profileId-862036

 

Following feedback from some users, I decided to make a few adjustments to my previous model, specifically to:

  • Eliminate the need for magnets
  • Ensure compatibility with printers that have the spool mounted at the back.

 

This model allows the evacuation of filament waste through a slide and sends it towards the trash.
To screw the slide in place, you need to unscrew the screws shown in the picture and screw them back.

Screws alignement: Be careful not to fully tighten the screws initially, as this allows you to perfectly align the holes. Once everything is aligned, you can then fully tighten the screws.

 

If you need a smaller bin, you can print the included BinSmall.stl.

 

Recommendations for printing:
For this model, I used PLA. No special recommandation, except supports (The print settings are already included in the print profile.)

Printing and installation worked fine. Unfortunately, it clogs up and the printer is better off without it

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that this isn't working for you. When you say "clogs," do you mean the filament sticks to the object and remains stuck at the top? It's curious; I print a lot, and I've never experienced the issue you're mentioning.
