Description

Have you ever seen a movie where the president or military person snaps open a plastic card thing to get nuke codes or something like that? Thats what this was inspired by.

It's made specifically to hold a single US paper currency bill. Might be able to get two in if they are brand new.

It is easy enough for my 5-year-old niece to snap open while still having a nice satisfying snap when it's cracked open because I left the smaller edges a bit thicker.

Use PLA.

Included two plates with and without brim. I use a biqu cryogrip and don't need a brim but you might.

works great! super satisfying snap, using these with a printed gift box to give cash for Christmas gifts. (if you use the same gift box model, I had to scale it up 125% to get them to fit)

Made the newphews Christmas. He was in a funk as he just had his 1st breakup, by text on the 24th. He opened the gift with these in it 1st and it made his day. You could see his mood improve as the day went on.

such a fun idea. had issues resuming from the pause because I left it too long and while the bed was still warm, the top wasn’t

What issues did you have? I did a batch of them a few days before christmas that I started before I went to sleep and finished after I got home from work the next day. They sat for 18 or so hours in a cold room on my A1 and finished fine so im curious what issues you had

The next layers just didn’t adhere. but the 2nd run ran great. it’s possible I got the tops dirty trying to put the bills in place too.

Killer! I made a few of these and ended up, instead of putting money into it, made a game for my Fiancee with cryptic clues in order to find the new password for the gaming PC :)
