Description

Venom Helmet with Movable Jaw

Sized to fit my number 3 sizing head found here - https://makerworld.com/en/models/525268

Uses 8x2mm Magnets, 14 in total. - Be sure to use the magnets in the BOM as they were tested and work properly.

Use Super Glue "I use the gel kind" when assembling the Teeth to their receptive areas. Notches where provided to ensure a accurate fit.

After assembly, apply super glue to the inside the Jaw peg holes and insert the Jaw pegs to keep the Jaw from coming off.

Uses 2 small black 20mm rubber bands.

This does have its issues as its my first attempt at a Venom mask. Its a bit over sized, The teeth could be better, Bit longer maybe. Didn't have room for the tongue I modeled. But I did work really hard on it and its only the V1.

very good file . could use some more magnet 🧲 points for the back cap . I’d like to see twice as much or move to a 10x2 magnet :)

If you use the ones in the BOM they are at least twice as strong. Less mags means less money spent my good sir. I only use the Bambu magnets as I found they are way stronger then any you can find on Amazon. I did extensive testing on this fact to be sure. I can understand a lot of people may have magnets laying around already and want to use the ones they have, But I cant guarantee other magnets you may have or buy will work properly.

yah not buying off Bambu resellers they are priced ridiculously. I got 1200 magnets for 40$ on aliexpress. they are great magnets . just was a suggestion . it’s a tad light on the points of contact . 10x2 magnets would work better . just my opinion

which elastic bands did you use for this because the magnets suggested are not very good they seem like they're too thin to work for this. the elastic band that you used seem to fix this issue though so a name or where to buy would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Budwin crushes it again with this print! only issues I had was printing the solid lenses. When you get about 2/3 up, it won't print right because the supports aren't there to hold it from moving while printing, so I went in and layed them down to print and it worked fine. and there's a small space between the had and back of the front of the mask. But in the end, the detail is beautiful and I wouldn't hesitate to print anything BW makes. Thank you for providing this! !
