Description

Hello Makers,

this is my first upload. I like to work with HueForge, so it has also become such a model. :-)

It is a bookmark in the size 44x160mm. It needs 3 colors, in the profile it is set to an AMS. Otherwise the filament change must be converted into a pause. (Afterwards manual unloading and loading)

Happy printing !

The print profile has been adapted to the Hueforge. I would suggest not to change to much. (Precision & Print Speed)

Printing tips
- Do not simplify the model.

- Dont scale the Z-Axis, otherwise the color layers no longer fit. Apart from the Z-axis, the model can be scaled as desired.

- If a message regarding floating objects appears, this can be ignored. (Standard from a HueForge export)

- The profiles are set to an AMS. Otherwise the filament change must be converted into a pause. (Afterwards manual unloading and loading)

Other colors can also be used, this is entirely up to your creativity. However, there is something to bear in mind.

Filament Guide
The ideal filament PLA and PLA+ (glow also possible if suitable)
Only use PETG if you want to create a glossy effect on one color layer.

PETG, Silk and Matt filaments let very little light through, so you have to test this for each model. These filaments can be used for the final colour change for a finish.

About this image
The image used was created by myself. After creation, pre-processing, post-processing, it was scaled up and processed in HueForge.

Printing Instructions - AMS
- Just Plug & Play, choose your 3MF and Print !

Printing Instructions - NO AMS - Use manual pause between Layers.

I used blue pla glow in place of the red on my second print, and I'm really pleased with it. I also accidently swapped black for red sparkle which worked out and looks okay, but might lead to some glittery pages.

I really like the red in place of the black when held up to the light

Nice print. Love the details. Might try it with magenta instead of red next time.

Love the design, it’s stunning. Unfortunately had some issues with warping and my initial print failed because of this. But after tweaking the print profile it printed perfectly for me.

Thanks for the review, a few tips about warping: A1 Series - open printer Lower the print bed temperature, 65 degrees is too high. CoreXY Series - enclosed printer The door can be opened a gap. As always, pay attention to the print bed adhesion. Cleaning the plate in advance

No worries! That’s great to know, thank you so much. I’m new to 3D printing so I was wondering why that happened and how to prevent it :) I also used the 0.2 nozzle and it looks amazing

hi, thanks for the feedback. That's an important tip about the 0.2 nozzle. As the print object is very thin, there is a risk of warping even with long printing times. This bookmark is printed on a 0.4 Nozzle in 1 hour, the 0.2 will need about 3 hours. here the print bed temperature must be lowered to 45 degrees. I had intended to create a 0.2 nozzle profile all along, I just haven't got round to it yet.

My first hueforge print, I think it turned out really well, but I'd like to find a more transparent white, my white PLA seems to be pretty opaque. otherwise definitely going to try again when i get some magenta.

thanks for the rating. the white used does not let enough color through. Do not use matt or silk filaments. PETG would also be possible, but only if you want a glossy effect.

The only white I have right now is the Inland white, we have to get another white that is more transparent. I got all this for Christmas, so I'm trying things out and getting used to how everything works.

Thank you for this fantastic template! I only had "desert tan" instead of white and orange instead of red, but the result is simply magnificent!

Great profile! Printed very nicely on P1S. Used Inland PLA+ in white, true red, and black.

Exceptional contrast. Spectacular rendering. I printed several to give as gifts. Unfortunately, the photograph does not at all capture the actual rendering and three-dimensional depth
