Description

This is a scale 10th doctor sconic screwdriver model with space on the inside to fit electronics for a light and sounds. The slider is designed with a hole for a cut and bent paperclip to slip through to press a larger button that can be glued on the inside. The bottom unscrews to allow access to a lipo charging port and the whole thing can extend and still work at any extension. I took apart an 11th sonic toy and put the electronics and led from that toy into this model and purchased a very thin lip and saldered it all together and got a pretty decent looking prop. The texture on the handle of my print is not in the model. I jused idea maker slicer for the handle specifically because it has an option to add textures to the walls of your prints. I was unable to add the texture to the actual stl file with my current cad capabilities. Most of the model is glued together accept for the black base that has threads. If you print the threads you might have to screw it on and off a few times before the threads feel smooth just to break apart the z seam.

not sure I can post anything but I can explain, pretty much all of it is glued together accept for the black bottom screws on, the super thin part with the slider is supposed to house electronics if you choose to add them but I forgot to add a model for the clear tube in front because I used a scrap piece of acrilic tube, so if you want it to be able to extend you will need to either print a tube that will fit or find one, wouldn't be too difficult to model could probably do that in the slicer, I just saw this model in my old files on fusion 360 and figured I'd post them. I am sorry that this isn't the most convenient solution
