Description

This is my own custom model of the 10th doctor's tardis from doctor who. I tried my best to keep the proportions as accurate to the show as i could. It is designed to be printed. I layed the pannels flat with minor supports in the ridges underneath that were easy to remove. You will have to sand some of the joints a little but they are not very difficult to sand.

The roots cannot be assembled; each hole is too small, rendering insertion impossible

I made this a long time ago before I knew what tolerances were, each insert is the exact same dimensions as the holes. if you take a file to the inserts though it is possible to get it to fit, it just takes a little work. I'm planning on remodeling this tardis to have tolerances to fix this. in the mean time you can download the other newer tardis I posted and that one should fit together right off the print bed, I tested that one and it's a tight fit but it does not require any filing

does this need ams? or is it manual color compatible

someone made a print profile for me and has the lamp and windows on the same file and that would need ams but mine was actually made on an old ender 3, so just print the windows and lamp separately and everything else is blue and can be printed together

I would post my own profile but I posted this before I got my p1s and I remember how flawed this design is because I made it several years ago when I didn't know what a tolerance was, but I'll be remaking it soon with tolerances accounted for so that it won't require any sanding or filing to assemble and I'll just post it as a v2

eryone matte navy blue pla filament on Amazon, it's a shockingly close color to the 10th doctors tardis

Do you have the archives to print the labels?

the labels are actually just paper and a normal 2d printer. I put scotch tape over them to give them a little shine. I put a big hole behind them in case I wanted to put a light inside it so it could shine through the sign
