printed well with some minor tweaks. I could not get it to stick to the bed with the original orientation ( possibly the filament used as well) but printing it in the orientation shown fixed that issue. I also changed the layer height from .08mm to .16mm and added a larger brim. this also lower the print time from 11 hours to just over 6 hours and honestly I think it came out higher quality that the what the other ones would have.
used 0.16mm layer height, change the orientation, change brim to 8mm, added support also to overhang. also used cryogrip pro glacier. after one failed print here is the result thanks to the maker
wash your build plate with DISH SOAP and warm water using your hands. Let it air dry. Try the print again with a brim, tree supports and oriented like the others did. Build plate temp set to 65-70 or as BBL Studio recommended for your filament.
The model is beautiful, and the profile worked perfectly on my A1 Mini. However, I noticed that this model is very popular online, and I couldn’t figure out who the original author is. I would like to know to see if they have created other similar models. Additionally, I believe the part designed for the straps was developed for some kind of interlocking mechanism, and I’m very curious to know the purpose it was created for.
i have tried to print this three times now with the Cool Supertack plate, and every time the right side of the mask breaks loose from the plate, gets knocked to the floor, and then i have spaghetti. the right side of the mask oddly has less supports than the left side does. why?
