Description

New and improved version of my original Wheelstand.

Tired of carrying your Onewheel through grocery stores? Roll it around like a suitcase with the Wheelstand! Includes an integrated kickstand.

The Wheelstand can be kept on the Onewheel while riding (it doesn't impede ground clearance or get in the way of your back foot).

Improvements:

  • Printable in PETG
  • Third caster wheel allows vertical rolling
  • Bulked-up fin for additional strength
  • Widened stance with threaded rod
  • Attaches to Onewheel through bumper screwholes (doesn't require FST footpads, although my design fits a Onewheel GT with FST footpads).
  • Can be modified to fit any Onewheel and footpad combination.

In addition to the 3D printed Wheelstand, you will need:

  1. (2) x M5 x 30 screws (to attach Wheelstand to bumper screw hole)
  2. (2) x 1-¾" diameter wheels with bearings (my wheels came from a random bin in my hackspace, but skateboard wheels would probably work).
  3. 5/16-18 x 12" length of threaded rod (This has extra length, but you can cut it down to fit)
  4. (3) x 5/16-18 lock nuts
  5. (1) x 1-½" diameter swivel caster

There is also a “washer” file which prevents the wheels from rubbing on the 3D print.

Print in PETG with 4 perimeters, 20% infill and support material enabled on build plate, oriented as shown in the photos.

Does this work for the flared foot pads? I just don’t wanna use all that filament if it won’t.
