Great work on this model! I finished printing mine today and it looks excellent. Some feedback: 1. Overall good print profile! The supports in particular worked really well and snapped off easily. I'm going to be saving these settings for myself for future projects :-) 2. The AMS plate for the eyes could be better if the white layer didn't start from the beginning. I was really surprised it was a 2.5 hour print for less than a few grams of filament. Not a huge deal, but it would be better if the white started at a higher layer to reduce time and purges. 3. The model has some very small gaps where the white circles are inserted. I thought maybe this was my machine and its tolerances, but looking at the pictures I see yours also have the same gaps. It would be nice if the circles had a tighter fit. 4. I'm not sure what can be done about this but some of the outlines where the circles go in had some jagged lines from the supports. I used a deburring tool to remove these but it's not as clean as I'd like it. That said, it could be a fair compromise. 5. The split model is a great idea, but it would be nice if the guides for placing the split piece were tighter fitting. I didn't have much trouble lining it up, but even though I did my best to line it up perfectly, you can still see the seam fairly well on one side of it. If it lined up perfectly the seam would be harder to see. Overall though, it's pretty good and I agree a decent compromise compared to printing it solid. 6. Assembly overall was really easy. I liked the numbers and the shapes to fit the piece on. 7. The twisting mechanism for the bottom part works perfectly. It would be nice if it "clicked", maybe if it would be possible to add a magnet? But regardless it holds well and aligns perfect when closed. Overall, great work! I love the concept of it being a stash jar, and the size is a treat. I'll be printing your smaller one next.
