Description

Multi-part Mushroom Stash Jar - Small Version

Link to Large Version

Hello everyone, I hope you have been enjoying some of my creations. This one worked out great, easy to assemble with various printing options and the fit is perfect. The body slides into the top and turns 120 degrees to fully close. The tolerances of the large and small version are the same (not scaled) so you should have a little wiggle room to scale either one, just start with the model closest to the size you want.

Assemble is pretty straight forward. All the circles have different curvature and are labelled on the back with a number and a key for alignment. Make sure to check the keyhole for any print debris or blobs before assembly as this will prevent a nice smooth finish. There are two choices for the eyes, they can be printed in parts white/black or made as one piece using an AMS. The top part also has two print options It can be a single piece however supports will be visible on the outer surface at the back or it can be done it two parts and glued together. I prefer the two parts it's a safer print and requires way less work to have good clean result, no supports are visible on the outer surface.

Good model but not sure what I did wrong, I had to leave the white pupils off as if you screw the lid on the pupils foul the lid and knock them off. No big deal still looks good and I'll just paint them on instead 👍 EDIT My bad I've printed the wrong eyes hah nice model 👍

That red locks sweet, nice choice!!! What I can see is they eyes are installed upside down. they should have the whites at the top. the flat (build.plate) side is back. installed this way they will be perfectly flush.

I didn't realize I messed up the eyes on the blue one until I looked at the photo I took and seen the red one (2nd one I made) was different. lol. oh well. they both turned out good otherwise. great print. getting the pupils off the brim or whatever is a little tricky. I just cut it off with a exacto knife.
