Description

Tilt Drawer for IKEA SKÅDIS

I designed this tilt drawer for IKEA Skadis. This tilt drawer allows for easy opening with a simple upward lift. It’s perfect for storing small items, while its design prevents dust accumulation. Combining a sleek appearance with functional and creative design, this is a must-have accessory for your SKÅDIS setup.

-----------------------------------------------------

**2025.1.3 Update**

Uploaded a larger version with internal dimensions of 90×50×77mm (original version: 70×45×56mm).

-----------------------------------------------------

Important Notes:

1. Circular Clips: After removing the supports, ensure the bottom of the two circular clips is smooth.  If the drawer doesn't open smoothly, use sandpaper to lightly sand it for the smoothest result.

2. Securing the Hook: If the hook feels loose, you can insert a fastener from the back of the SKÅDIS board to stabilize the base and prevent wobbling.

This tilted drawer is the perfect blend of practicality and style, making it an essential addition to your SKÅDIS collection!

Good design! I changed the printing angle that let the hooks facing down and then only make support for bottom side. This way don't need any support for the track. I think it may make the tracks more smooth.

I guess this is way superior to the original - in the end you don't see the side facing the peg-board! would it be possible for you to post your print profile for others to use?

Really good stuff! But I wonder what the smallest part is for???

@Roiku3D Thanks for the photo. It is used to secure from the back to prevent the base from moving when upward force is applied to the box. Is there any issue with the printing process?

great design, boosted, many thanks for sharing, the only thing I needed is a handle for easy opening, so I added a profile with it if anyone else need

I'm sorry about that, I guess you meant that the "back handle" was missing, not the handle I made, so I added it

Prints very nicely! However the supports for the curved gap seem a little excessive and really add to the print time. Apart from that an awesome design!

what alternative do You suggest?

I would suggest a small in-part support. Basically just filling the curved opening unitl the overhang is managable. That way you wouldn't need the two big tree supports from 4 sides. I just think tree support isn't the most efficient here...

I modded it to fit a Multiboard and I will probably be printing more of these as I go.

overall very nice print. I did need to sand/rasp out some of the rougher bits in the groove, which was fine.

love this design, had some post processing but that’s due to the old filament and not the model design itself. Awesome!
