Seamless Full Moon Lamp

Immerse yourself in the enchanting glow of the Seamless Full Moon Lamp, a stunning 10 cm diameter masterpiece that redefines portable lighting. An elegant upgrade from its predecessor (8 cm 4K CGI Moon Kit), this version enhances the timeless charm of the moon with a larger size and added versatility.

Crafted with precision using NASA’s 16K CGI Moon Kit as a reference, the lamp showcases intricate lunar surface details—from craters to ridges—capturing the moon’s beauty in breathtaking accuracy. Unlike conventional designs with visible openings, this lamp features an innovative screw-on mechanism to seal the bottom, achieving a flawless, seamless finish that preserves the moon’s enchanting allure.

Despite its intricate craftsmanship, the lamp is lightweight and portable, making it perfect for holding in your hand or carrying on adventures.

Versatile and Stylish for Any Setting:

This lamp isn’t just a light source—it’s a multi-functional accessory, ideal for:

  • Creating romantic moments under the stars with your loved one.
  • Enhancing cosplay as a unique prop, carried in a net bag or mounted onto a staff for a magical touch.
  • Adding cosmic wonder to your living space, bookshelf, reading corner, library, or bedside.

Compatible with tealights or fairy lights, the lamp emits a soft, warm glow that creates a soothing and romantic atmosphere. Whether for dreamy nights, cosplay events, or as a thoughtful gift for astronomy enthusiasts, the Seamless Full Moon Lamp blends creativity with functionality.

Elegant Support-Free Stand:

The lamp includes a beautifully designed, single-piece, support-free stand. Printed as a whole, it eliminates the need for assembly or piecing parts together, ensuring durability and stability with no wobbling. Its sleek design complements the moon lamp perfectly, adding an elegant touch to any space.

Bring the magic of the moon closer and let its light illuminate your special moments!

I found the exact same thing in a store last week, sold for 45€ and 3d printed. The store is "Nature et découverte" in France. Funny.

Your moon looks great! It seems a little more gray than most. What color filament did you use?

tried 3 different filaments and 2 different boards and ended up with a birds nest. I think it needed more support. the moon turned out perfect. thank you

Hi there, From the photo you took (applause for having one for troubleshooting), it seems you might have an adhesion issue. I bet you’ve cleaned your bed thoroughly and wonder if you’ve changed the plate setting in the slicer or app to match the one you’re using. The default I had is an original BBL cold plate. Different beds require different temp for filaments to adhere well. If nothing works, I recommend increasing the brim size to twice as large, but I’d check the bed temp first.

I would also suggest another plate without the effects sheet. The effects sheet can be tough for adhesion and this model has very little contact with the bed to benefit from the effects anyway.

I'm trying a larger brim size now as I'm having the same issue.

Third time's the charm! Printed on a P1S, clean PEI sheet. Bambu Lab filament. The moon printed perfectly. However, the support failed twice. Adding brim ears manually finally worked!

Sorry that this happened to you. I’m not sure what the issue is; it mostly affects A1 or Mini users. I printed with my P1S, P1P, and X1C, and it is definitely not a support issue. Failing during a print, where the object falls off the bed, is likely an adhesion issue or a failure of Z-hopping, causing the print head to knock the object off the bed.

most of it looks great, but I’ve gotten these pieces sticking out. printed on A1, PETG, with support. also no idea how to get the support out as the top is wider than the opening.

I just finished my print and had the same problem. I broke the trunk off and used heavy duty shears to cut what was left into smaller pieces. It wasn't easy, but got the job done and only took a couple of minutes.

Please break it into smaller parts, as @user_2378469895 suggested. Unfortunately, there is no other way around it, as the area that needs support is larger than the opening. Making the opening bigger would mean sacrificing the aesthetics, as the opening would be in the middle or 1/3 of the moon. I used a Snip/cutter comes with my old Creality printer.

The moon looks perfect (printed on A1). I had issues printing the stand with the settings that came with profile but i printed the second stand with bambu lab default 0.08mm High Quality profile and just changed the brim type to outer brim and brim width to 10, and it was printed pefectly. Picture 1 shows the moon with bambu tea light candle, picture 2 shows the stand printed with default 0.08mm profile, picture 3 shows the stand printed with profile that came with the model.

Would rate 4 stars if the app let me. the moon printed just like it should, but I can for the life of me not print the stand. I tried like four times (yes, I cleaned the plate) but every print failed from parts being knocked loose by the printhead.

no worry, are you using A1 or mini? it somehow effected these machines. I'll talk to bambulab tech support to see what's going on.
