Description

I always felt like most models used unnecessary amounts of filament, so I decided to try and create my own models with less material. It's still reasonably strong and prints quite fast and without supports.

This is part of my collection of skeleton tracks.

Available in two heights:

Standard: 60 mm clearance, same height as the original Brio bridges
Tall: 66 mm clearance, bigger trains can fit beneath the bridge

Recommended Settings:

Material	Bambulab PLA Matte
Nozzle	0.4 mm
Plate	Textured PEI
Layer Height	0.2 mm
Wall Loops	3
Infill	15%
Infill for Anchor Modifiers	100%

You can totally get away with using 2 wall loops and save another 2g of filament, but obviously it's less strong.

I provided a 3mf project file, which you should use. The STL file might not turn out strong enough, unless you add modifiers manually.

Thank you for the fantastic models! However, our collection of tracks has bridge heights of 62-64mm, so a height of 63mm would be the perfect compromise for us! Could someone provide this? I'm currently unable to do so myself… ;-) Regards Michael

Worked perfectly with the ikea train set. This also made a toddler extremely happy and has been playing with it for hours. Printed in Bambu PLA Basic Orange.
